You know, sometimes I wonder if people are playing a completely different game than myself - I couldn’t get into Fallout 3 for the life of me, and to even imply that the characters were better in that game absolutely baffles me. The writing was awful and the storyline bored me to tears.

New Vegas had a main plot, but FO3 had better exploration. Part of that was due to the fact that NV had a ridiculously tiny world map.
